Hire a Cycle
We hire cycles to our members and the general public and have a wide range of standard and non-standard cycles to choose from, including standard two-wheelers, trikes, side-by-sides, recumbents, tandems and more. Please book ahead.
If you're new to Pedal Power and think you may need to hire one of our non-standard cycles, you will need to book an assessment so that we can help choose the right cycle and accessories for your needs.
General Cycle Hire Prices & Hire Terms
Non-members will need to leave a valid 'physical' form of I.D. with us for ALL hires. and we will ask you to sign a copy of our Hire Ts&Cs.
For e-cycles, a deposit of £250 also required.
Member Cycle Hire Prices
Members can have one support worker ride with them free of charge. Additional standard 2-wheel cycle for support worker is £2 per hour.

If you have support needs or think you may need to use one of our accessible cycles, we will need to carry out an assessment before you can hire our cycles. This helps us to understand your needs and choose the right cycle and accessories for you. Support needs may relate to a learning disability, a physical disability or a balance and coordination difficulty.
If you choose to become a Pedal Power member, the cost of your assessment is included in the annual membership cost. Find more details about membership below.
